THE SIREN

A boutique hotel situated in downtown Detroit for American hotelier ASH. The Siren Hotel is located in the iconic 19th century Wurlitzer building, home to the former Wurlitzer Company, manufacturer of electric pianos, organs and juke boxes. Our vision for the restoration of the Renaissance Revival style structure involved a full renovation of the interiors and refurbishment of the exterior, including restoring glazed terra cotta tile on the facade.

This project is an ode to the former glory of this American city. We designed 106 guest suites, a cocktail lounge, a restaurant, cafe and event space, along with a curated art and design periodical library. Suites are designed to evoke a luxurious old world feeling using a mix of custom and vintage furnishing, hand embroidered linens and rich colors.
